Flat TT Sales Might Be Improved By Audi's New Matte Paint Choice

When the first Audi TT went on sale in 1998, everyone was excited about it. That was a long time ago, and just 987 Audi TTs were sold in the United States last year. Small coupe and roadster variants, as well as the Q3 SUV, now have a matte paint option. We're hoping this may be of some assistance.
TT customers ordering their basic vehicle, TT S, or TT RS will now have the choice of three matte colors: Daytona Grey, Florett Silver, or Python Yellow, in addition to the current color selections.
In the meantime, the Q3 and the more powerful RS Q3 are offered in Daytona Gray and Florett Silver, but not Python Yellow, which Audi has replaced with Dew Silver, a hue exclusive to the SUV. Three out of every four cars sold in Germany, according to Audi, are white, black, or silver.
