Fisker Ocean EVs Are Now Available At Steep Discounts

Fisker has just revealed steep discounts for vehicles in the Ocean lineup for 2023. Now, before destination expenses, the base Ocean Sport costs $24,999. That makes it, hands down, the most affordable electric vehicle in the United States.

Fisker slashed $24,000 off the price of the top-of-the-line Ocean Extreme, cutting it in half. With a price drop from $61,499 to $37,499, you can now acquire a dual-motor SUV that can go 0–60 mph in less than 4 seconds and has 564 horsepower in Boost Mode.

The Ocean is equipped with a panoramic folding roof, many driver-assist systems, powerful audio, and more as standard features. The EPA estimates its range to be 360 miles. You can still go to 60 mph in under four seconds with the mid-range Ocean Ultra, which has a range of 350 miles and costs $34,999. Fisker further claims that the prices already contain extras worth up to $7,000.

According to Fisker, if things continue as they are, they will not have enough money to reach the end of the year. Reports of recent investment discussions with other manufacturers gave rise to some optimism, but these discussions—which were supposedly focused on a partnership with Nissan—did not result in a deal.

Fisker had a hard time getting the Ocean on sale, but in 2023, they managed to build over 10,000 units and send 4,700 of them to buyers.
