Behold, a month after the official launch of the new Audi A4, the Germans have made public its price. So depending on the engine and equipment or on the body variant chosen the new A4 has a starting price of 30,650 Euros.

In the case above, for the amount of EUR 30 65 you get an A4 Sedan, and if you opt for something more practical, then for an Avant you should take out from your pockets about 32,500 euros. These prices include VAT taxes, but only for the dealers from Germany.

Under the hood is a 1.4-liter TFSI unit, a gasoline engine, turbo-aspirated which develops 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. Some more horsepower can provide the 2.0-liter TFSI unit. This is available in two versions of 190 hp and 320 Nm, or 252 hp and 370 Nm of torque.

We find something similar in the diesel camp engines where the 2.0 TDI unit can produce between 150 hp and 320 nm, or 190 hp and 400 Nm. For more Nm will have to go on the 3.0-liter TDI version which starts at 218 horsepower and 400 Nm and can reach up to 272 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. By the way, it is the same engine found in the new-model Audi Q7.

Among the most valuable options include the matrix LED headlights, adaptive cruise control system which includes Stop & Go function (assistance in traffic jams), or audio system Bang & Olufsen 3D.

In Germany, the first models are expected in the official dealer showrooms this autumn, shortly after the presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show, followed later and the rest of the European community to lay their hands on the new A4.
