Ferrari Testa Rossa J Is An Electric Version Of The 1950s Racing Car

Ferrari's latest model, an electric, 75 % scale operational copy of the 250 Testa Rossa, is now available to those above the age of 14.

Ferrari Testa Rossa J was created by the Italian firm’s Maranello styling center in collaboration with the Bicester-based Little Car Company, which specializes in constructing junior automobiles.

Chassis and other mechanical components of the vehicle were built from original design drawings preserved by Ferrari's Classiche department, and it measures 3100 mm long, 1100 mm tall, and 700 mm wide.

The electric engine in the Testa Rossa J is powered by three batteries located in the front of the vehicle. With a max speed of 37mph, the car may be driven in four different modes: novice, comfort, sport, and race. According to the company, the car can drive 55 km on a single charge.

Ferrari Testa Rossa J, which rides on 12 in wheels, incorporates some elements and stylistic cues from full-size Ferrari models, including the F8 Tributo's pedals. Pirelli provides the tires, and the auto also has Bilstein coilover dampers and special springs, as well as regenerative braking as part of the kit.

“Throughout the development of the automobile, safety has been a top priority,” Ferrari stressed. The metal side panels have been reinforced, and a roll-bar can be attached to the chassis as an option. To improve braking performance, Brembo disc brakes replace the current drum system.

The interior of the automobile is upholstered in leather, and the steering wheel is created by Nardi, the same manufacturer that made the original 1957 model. The original dials have been reused for an electric model, now indicating battery and motor temperatures instead of oil and water gauges, while the classic fuel gauge has been replaced with a battery charge indicator.

Clients can also personalize the vehicle by choosing from 14 antique liveries and 53 bodywork finishes. The Testa Rossa J has a starting price of roughly £78,765, and only 299 units will be manufactured. It'll accompany the Baby Bugatti and Aston Martin DB5 Junior in the Little Car Company's model range.
