The Dino name comes from Enzo Ferrari's son, Dino. Ferrari was intending to release a sub-brand of Ferrari, called Dino, with fewer cylinders than 12.
The original Dino works on a V6 and the experts believe that it is one of the most beautiful Ferrari models. The range didn't get to become reality, Ferrari remaining a unique brand.
Ugur Sahin is the one who created the Ferrari Dino concept in 2007, attempting to bring Ferrari to the 21 century's requirements. This implied a modern, elegant, dynamic, and organic design, but with the main classical Ferrari lines being preserved.
The 2007 Dino concept is pretty much alike the basic Dino model, with round curves and a mixture of modern and retro influences. The car's looks speak dynamism and good taste. Nevertheless, anybody will recognize the legendary Ferrari's lines, including the back window opening.
