We all remember how started the Fast & Furious franchise and the glory and adrenaline it brought to the street races. Every car fan would've dreamed of driving at least once on of them because let's face it, no matter which movie, plot, and actor changes, the cars remain the main character. Now, the Fast Five 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Replica will be auctioned online in April this year.

Long story short - 12 Corvette grand Sport replicas were built by Mangoose Motorsports for filming the memorable scene in Fast Five (2011). After filming and the stunts performed with it - watch the video below to see that the surviving car is a true heroine- rumor says that only three survived and the auctioned one is one of the nicest of the three remainings. It's the one that was mostly used by Vin Diesel and Paul Walker during the filming process.

Usually, after shooting a movie, the cars are trashed or left wrecked due to the irreparable damage that occurs throughout the stunts. The auctioned model is a true survivor, has been taken care of, and will draw attention on the street. Featuring a quite basic interior, you can also see simple analog gauges, a three-spoke steering wheel, leather-wrapped seats, and a manual shifter, along with 60' requirements - a fire extinguisher.

The replica is powered by a GM performance crate 350 cubic-inch V8 delivering 380 horsepower and is being coupled to an automatic transmission. Underpinned by a tubular chassis, it features a C4 Corvette's suspension. The replica was built after gaining a special GM license especially for the the1963 Corvette Grand Sport and the models are sold for $85,000  without the engine, nor transmission.

The heroic 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Replica is listed at Volvo Cars and will be auctioned in an online selling event between April 14-21, 2021.
