Geely's Farizon Supervan Promises Big Features In A Competitive Electric Package

Farizon Supervan, or SV, is ready to take on the UK market as a fresh contender in the electric van segment. Built on an EV-specific platform with its battery tucked under the cargo bay floor, it’s ready to rival established names like the Ford E-Transit Custom and Vauxhall Vivaro Electric.

Although the UK-specific versions of the Supervan are still unknown, we are aware that it is available in China as a seven- or nine-seat minibus and even as a camper van. The pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s expected to come in below the E-Transit Custom (£44,899, excluding VAT) and Vivaro Electric (£51,715, including VAT), making it an appealing choice for cost-conscious buyers. 

The Supervan’s payload capacity ranges between 1100 kg and 1300 kg, depending on the configuration, while cargo volume spans from 6.9 to 13 cubic meters. At launch, buyers can choose between two battery options: a 67kWh pack and a larger 83kWh pack, which offers an estimated 225 miles of range. For those needing more, a 106 kWh battery is on the horizon, promising extended range capabilities.

Inside, the Farizon Supervan keeps things straightforward with a three-seat layout and two displays: a compact instrument panel and a larger central touchscreen for infotainment. It will come in three sizes to fit different needs. The smallest version measures 4.99 m long and 1.98 m tall, the middle one stretches to 5.49 m and 2.18 m, and the largest tops out at 5.95 m long and 2.5 m tall. Jameel Motors of Saudi Arabia will handle the deliveries, scheduled for mid-2025.
