Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Pagani, Singer, and Autofficina restomods are just a few of the ultra-exclusive marques offered by La Squadra, a famous supercar dealer. On top of that, they serve customers who are looking for Ferrari and Maserati alternatives that are a little more affordable.

What has really caught people's attention, though, is the La Squadra x Zagato AGTZ Twin Tail, a limited-edition Alpine that they designed in conjunction with Zagato.

La Squadra x Zagato AGTZ Twin Tail Edition

The Alpine A220, a 1968 prototype sports racer that sought to propel Alpine into the higher 3.0-liter class at Le Mans, is the progenitor of this one-of-a-kind vehicle. The A220 had numerous issues, including poor performance and reliability, in spite of its lofty objectives. After some time, Alpine abandoned the A220 and returned to rallying. But tarmac rallies gave the vehicle a second chance before it faded into oblivion.

A powerful 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine producing 296 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque forms the basis of the AGTZ Twin Tail, which is based on the contemporary Alpine A110 R. Carbon fiber body panels, an elongated nose, reworked cooling ducts, and lower side intakes evocative of the A220 are just a few examples of the meticulous attention to detail that characterize this Zagato creation. Its distinctive double bubble top, custom headlights, and taillights all contribute to its attractiveness.

The AGTZ Twin Tail is sure to turn heads, whether or not it has its distinctive tailpiece. This high-performance masterpiece is 169.5 inches long when not including the tail and 189.1 inches when it is. The AGTZ Twin Tail exemplifies workmanship and rarity with its limited edition of just 19 pieces valued at €650,000 ($705,239 U.S.). With an October delivery date in the books and a special platform to display the detachable tail when not in use, the debut is planned for May at Villa d'Este on Lake Como.
