Cheers to the discreet reveal of the Dodge Challenger Demon 170 Jailbreak, adding a twist to what was perceived as the ultimate combustion-powered muscle car iteration.

The mysterious special edition first came to light on the Hellcat forum. It was revealed that Dodge extended an exclusive invitation to a select group of 20 to 25 individuals to own the Demon 170 Jailbreak. What makes this edition stand out is the 40 distinct color options available: half of these were fresh selections from the SRT team, while the other half were legacy colors from Dodge's heritage.

Interestingly, each potential owner was sent samples of all 40 colors. The catch? The first individual to notify Dodge of their chosen hue would get it. This approach ensures that each Demon 170 Jailbreak will be absolutely unique in color, reinforcing the car's exclusivity.

Celebrities such as Jay Leno, Michael Strahan, and Bill Goldberg are rumored to be among the few who were offered this limited edition. Alongside them, some race car drivers, Dodge insiders including CEO Tim Kuniskis, and long-standing Dodge customers who have been loyal to the brand over the years, were approached.

Every Jailbreak delivered will feature a special plaque denoting the unique color choice and the owner's name. Dodge acknowledged the existence of this edition in a statement saying, “The Jailbreak 170 is our way of celebrating the ultimate 'Last Call' Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 with our devoted muscle car enthusiasts." They further stated, "This one-off paint option celebrates the peak of customization and collectability for the Challenger SRT Demon 170, a token of our appreciation for those who have championed the most recent era of Dodge muscle power. This exclusive paint option is no longer available."
