When INEOS announced that its first vehicle – the Grenadier - will arrive later this year, it seems that no one from their team thought of an imposed situation to delay the production.
The company recently announced that wants to delay the Grenadier 4x4 off-roader until July 2022 because they need to perform much rigorous testing targets in extreme environments around the world. And to see how serious they are about it, on Wednesday, they confirmed that they plan to test at least 130 second-phase prototypes.
According to billionaire Jim Ratcliffe's firm declaration last year, in December the gorgeous Grenadiers should be manufactured in Hambach, France, from late 2021 in a site run by Daimler. "We only have one opportunity to get this right and our quality and performance targets for the Grenadier remain paramount," said CEO of Ineos Automotive Dirk Heilmann.
