De Tomaso Ghepardo - created to change the auto word!

This concept was created in 2010 by the Danish designer Frederik Tjellesen, in order to demonstrate the brand's sights for the future.

The luxurious Italian fitted suits are what served as the main source of inspiration for this car's design. The violet details on the grey paint, with sharp angles, are the most direct hints to the influence of the car's appearance. Nevertheless, we can't ignore the lines borrowed from other De Tomaso models, like Mangusta or Pantera.

The car is available in two versions, with two kinds of the drive train.

The customers may choose the V6 engine, coming from Ford. It has a capacity of 3.5 liters, is twin-turbo and produces 465 hp, to the back wheels.

Ghepardo also comes with an electric propulsion system, with four electric engines, one on each wheel, each of them releasing 110 hp, which makes a total of 440 hp. The tank with fueled methanol is placed in the back of the car.

De Tomaso was one of the best, most luxurious brands between the '60s and the '70s. Their cars were comparable to the legendary Lamborghinis or Ferraris, with a more down to earth price. One of the brand's pride is the Deauville model, which managed to be the fastest car in its period. Ghepardo takes a lot of influences from Deauville, with 4 separate doors, showing how De Tomaso's future looks like.
