Daihatsu Rocky Limited Edition Debuts At GIIAS 2025 With Only 10 Units Available

Daihatsu just did something pretty unexpected, and honestly, kind of fun. They’ve launched a special version of the Rocky SUV called the "Rocky Limited Edition." Only 10 will ever be made, and it’s being sold exclusively at this year’s Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show.
This little off-roader is based on last year’s Rocky Crossfield Concept, and it doesn’t stray far from that rugged design. You’ll spot it instantly in its bright Energetic Orange paint, with contrasting black on the roof, mirrors, wheel arches, and bumpers. The front grille drops the usual logo for bold “Daihatsu” lettering, and the 16-inch black wheels round out the tough, utilitarian look.

Inside, it’s mostly the standard mid-spec setup, but with a few blacked-out trim pieces on the steering wheel, gear knob, air vents, and door handles to match the exterior. You still get a 7-inch infotainment screen, digital cluster, fabric seats, and a pair of airbags. Nothing too flashy, but enough to keep things modern and practical.
Under the hood, there are no surprises. The Daihatsu Rocky Limited Edition runs the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine as the regular Rocky, with 87 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. Power goes to the front wheels through a CVT, so don’t expect wild off-road performance.

Still, what makes this Rocky special is the fact that it looks tough and is extremely rare. At around $15,100, it’s only about $260 more than the standard version, making it one of the most affordable limited-run vehicles on the market today. Ten cars, one event, and a whole lot of character.
