Dacia Spring EV Receives Gorgeous Makeover For 2024

To modernize the cost-effective urban EV for a broader market, Dacia has unveiled a substantially redesigned version of the Spring. Taking cues from the well-liked Duster, the 2024 Dacia Spring keeps its crossover features and plenty of ground clearance while adding some of its design elements.

Most of the upgrades are focused on the interior. Take, for instance, features like the LED headlights and grille from the Duster combined with SUV-inspired features like the bumper intakes and skid plate.

Adding plastic cladding to the bumper and adding contemporary LED lights to the rear is an equally daring redesign. Changes to the fenders and less complicated surfacing are intended to highlight its crossover stance, even though the overall profile is still recognizable.

The 2024 Dacia Spring also has updated color options and new wheel options with a diameter of up to 16 inches.

A 10-inch infotainment display and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster make up the Extreme flagship trim's digital cockpit, which replaces the previous dashboard with a more contemporary layout. Models that are more affordable will have a place for a smartphone.

The gearbox selector, dashboard-mounted tray, center console, and redesigned climate vents all add to the interior's more unified look. Moreover, potential owners are able to customize the cabin to their style with the YouClip accessory mounting system.

Safety features include the fundamental ADAS package required by EU regulations in addition to an easily controllable "My Safety" button. With a 35-liter trunk and a somewhat bigger boot space of 308 liters, storage capacity has increased.

With a WLTP range of more than 137 miles and the ability to charge electric devices in both directions, it performs respectably for urban commuting. But keep in mind that it keeps the same electric motor options and battery pack as its predecessor.

The Dacia Spring 2024 is expected to remain the most reasonably priced fully electric vehicle available, despite the company not yet disclosing its pricing. Estimated costs in the UK are expected to be under £18,000 ($22,732) starting in October 2024.
