The new Dacia Bigster was unveiled to a group of journalists by the Romanian automaker. The event was held in Bucharest. Dacia announced the arrival of a compact SUV in the market last year. The new model will be positioned above the current Dacia Duster.
Officials have not revealed the name of the production model derived from the Bigster as of yet. However, it is known that 90 percent of the concept's contours will be retained in the production model.

Despite being classified as a compact vehicle, the vehicle will have seven seats. Officials have ruled out the use of diesel engines. The new model's production version will most likely be unveiled early next year.
