Czinger 21C V Max Is Developed To Set A New World Record

Czinger, the California-based manufacturer, unveiled the V Max body style for the 21C, allowing buyers to customize their supercar. The Czinger 21C V Max omits a percentage of the downforce-inducing bodywork present on the original 21C, opening the door to a much more efficient body suitable for achieving higher speeds.

For starters, Czinger has modified the 21C's tip and lengthened the tail profile to reduce drag and improve stability. The V Max continues to use the same in-house-developed hybrid 2.88-liter twin-turbo V-8 powerplant that produces 1250 total horsepower.

According to the manufacturer, a classic 21C can reach 60 mph in under two seconds and can go on to reach a max speed of 270 mph. Those estimates are already on the low side of plausibility, but the V Max model must be faster in both respects. As a reminder, the base model's lap time of 1:27 at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca makes it the fastest production car ever.

According to a statement released by company creator Kevin Czinger, the Czinger 21C V Max ushers in a new era by combining stunning good looks with blistering acceleration and cornering prowess. Only 80 21Cs will be produced by Czinger, and their base price will be $1.7 million. Deliveries are anticipated to begin by the end of 2023.
