Cupra has introduced the "VZ Cup" version of the Leon, a sportier and more dramatic take. Cupra Leon VZ Cup, the range's top-grade, is available with both ICE and plug-in hybrid drivetrains, and purchasers may pick between hatchback and sports-tourer body styles.

To begin with, the VZ Cup is distinguished by its 19-inch Exclusive II alloy wheels, which include copper highlights that match the Cupra insignia. The rear spoiler is made of carbon fiber, while the side skirts are finished in dark aluminum.

Apart from that, it preserves the Cupra Leon's aggressive styling cues, including the huge bumper intakes, quad exhaust pipes, and diffuser. The massively supported supersport bucket seats, available in black or petrol blue leather, are the centerpiece on the inside. The steering wheel has a Cupra mode selection, and the dash has leather-style upholstery.

There is a comprehensive list of standard features for the VZ Cup, such as the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and the 10-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Cupra Leon is available with a 2.0 TSI engine that produces 296 hp (221 kW / 300 PS) or a 1.4 e-Hybrid powertrain that produces a mixed 242 hp (180 kW / 245 PS). The first is paired with a 7-speed DSG, while the latter is paired with a 6-speed DSG. Power is supplied to the front wheels in both situations.

The Sportstourer VZ Cup is also offered in 4Drive, an all-wheel-drive variant with a more powerful 2.0 TSI engine that produces 306 horsepower (228 kW / 310 PS). Cupra Leon VZ Cup 2.0 TSI hatchback costs €47,160 ($53,296) in Germany, while the 1.4 e-Hybrid costs €46,670 ($52,731). The flagship Cupra Leon Sportourer VZ Cup 2.0 TSI 4Drive, which costs €48,675 ($55,008), is for those who seek greater power.
