Confirmed: BMW will launch a limited edition of the BMW i8!

To mark 100 years of activity, BMW will launch a limited edition of the BMW i8 super car, named M100. This was recently confirmed by a new list of technical specifications.
Thus, the rumors become true which announced the most powerful BMW i8. It will be built in only 100 copies and a model price will be higher than 250,000 euros. The new sport car will debut in 2016 so the first orders to be honored until a year later in 2017.
The Bavarians promise to amaze us with a restyled i8, "more dynamic and agile", stronger and harder. It will weigh 110 kg more than the current i8 and this is explained by the fact that both engines will be replaced with some stronger ones. Thus, instead of 131 horsepower electric motor will be installed one capable of delivering 204 horsepower and drive 1.5-liter three-cylinder and 231 horsepower will be replaced by another gas station in four cylinders, 2.0 liter-volume develops 286 horsepower.
BMW i8 guaranteed a total of 517 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque! If the current generation catches the first hundred in just 4.4 seconds, but the new edition spends only 3.5 seconds! The difference is astounding!
According to Auto Bild Sports Editor will bear the name i8S or i8CS and for the year 2018-2019 BMW plans to launch an i8 able to change the direction of the rotation of the planet with 630 horsepower!
