Citroën My Ami Buggy Is Sold Out Within 18 Minutes

Citroen recently unveiled the My Ami Buggy, a limited version of its compact EV. In just 17 minutes and 28 seconds, the whole stock of 50 units reserved for France had been sold out.

Only 50 of the over 1,800 clients who showed interest in purchasing the unique edition did get a chance, according to the company. In order to improve the open-air experience, the My Ami Buggy differs from the standard Ami by having a canvas top that can be folded back and metal tube gates in place of doors.

Additionally, the My Ami Buggy has a Khaki-colored body, black plastic coating on the bumpers and wheel arches, and gold-finished steel wheels. The vehicle is still driven by the 8-horsepower electric motor, and the 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a range of 43 miles. The second half of August will see the delivery of the unique My Ami Buggy models.
