If you want a great trio, the new C5 X won't disappoint you. The new funky design will get beyond anything "more" of the French brand you could expect. It even can compete in the same segment as Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series, and Audi A6.  After the successful Peugeot 508, Citroën decided to add a flagship with the new C5 X and promoting it as a mashup of the two body styles, with some SUV accents sprinkled for good measure.

The C5 X is a range-topped model with a bold appearance bringing a three-in-one body configuration under the double chevron badge. You can also see a flat roofline that says sedan an elongated rear similar to a wagon effect and a tall ride height suggesting a C5 Aircross, As you can see, Chevrolet brings you a C5-badged model serving as a fully-fledged SUV.

Featuring 4,805 millimeters (189.1 inches) in length, 1,865 mm (73.4 in) width, and 1,485 mm (58.4 in) in height, this Chevrolet C5 X. The French automaker also brings along 545 liters (19.2 cubic feet) of expandable cargo volume up to 1,640 liters (57.9 cu ft) by folding the rear seats.

The quirky exterior styling is inspired by the previous 2016 Cxperience concept with the latest interior technologies available today in all Citroën has to offer at the moment. You get an infotainment system displayed on a 12-inch touchscreen along with a generously sized head-up display. Also, you get a fully digital instrument cluster and separate physical controls for the climate settings.

Optional gasoline engines are planned for different markets, but Citroën also plans a plug-in hybrid powertrain with 225 horsepower and a range over 50 kilometers (31 miles). With the optional combustion engine turned off, the PHEV model offers up to 84 mph (135 km/h). The plug-in hybrid version comes along with the Citroën Advanced Comfort suspension, Progressive Hydraulic Cushions for many comfortable seats.

The Citroën C5 X is expected on the European market in the second half of the year.
