Rolls-Royce Sets All-Time Sales Record In Q1 Of 2021

Here comes another manufacturer that could compete for Tesla's income and overwhelm of reservation, and sales. The global pandemic didn't cut the Rolls-Royce customer's trust in the manufacturer and now, we can note surely that the BMW Group-owned brand achieves its all-time sales record in the first quarter of the year.
According to the published official numbers shared by the British luxury carmaker, the brand sold, in the first three months of this year, at least 1,380 vehicles. This means a 62 percent jump over the previous last months of 2020. It even exceeds the brand's previous record set in 2019, which used to be the highest in its 116-year history.
The highest growth has been registered in the United States with China and the Asia-Pacific region flowing. There are still demands in all markets. The most popular Rolls-Royce is the new generation Ghost sedan and Cullinan luxury SUV. The automaker offers bespoke models such as the Koa Phantom and Iridescent Opulence Phantom. It's not a surprise that all 20 units of the Phantom Tempus Collection were shipped to their owners.
“Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made a strong start to 2021, reflected today in our first-quarter sales figures, which are the highest in our 116-year history”, said CEO Torsten Muller-Otvos. “With robust order books across our product range, particularly for the new Ghost and Cullinan, sales growth in key markets and Bespoke commissions running at record levels, our business is in excellent shape. We have every reason to be optimistic for the remainder of 2021.”
Just as a comparison, BMW sold 560,543 vehicles in the first quarter of the year, up 36.2 percent, including 37,896 M cars, a 21 percent increase. MINI also recorded a healthy jump of 16.2 percent with 74,683 vehicles sold.
