2022 Chrysler Pacifica Range Has Been Drastically Reduced

You'd be hard-pressed to find a brand with a narrower car range than Chrysler. The outmoded 300 sedan is one of those models, as is the Voyager, which is now a fleet-only car, thus the Pacifica minivan is the only thing holding the business alive. As far as we know, the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica received a few changes in September.

Furthermore, according to Mopar Insiders, the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica portfolio has been drastically reduced. There were 3,550 different possibilities for Chrysler's minivan range earlier, but that number has now been reduced to only 53.

The Pacifica, on the other hand, is more strongly connected with other minivans due to the decrease in model line sophistication. The Honda Odyssey, for example, offers only 7 options, whereas the Kia Carnival has 90. With 206 combinations, the Toyota Sienna sits at the top position.

The new 2022 Chrysler Pacifica gets Amazon Fire TV, which can be accessed via the vehicle's 4G Wi-Fi hotspot using Chrysler's intuitive Uconnect 5 infotainment system. A new color option, enhanced clean air filtration, a new rear-seat reminder, and the Cold Weather Group are now included on the Touring model. This package adds a heated steering wheel and front seats.

As Chrysler decided to drop the Touring AWD model as well as the Pacifica Hybrid Touring trim, the Touring model is now only available with a gas engine. Only 3% of consumers chose the Hybrid Touring, indicating that most buyers who chose the hybrid also wanted a larger selection of accessories.

The Hybrid Touring L now costs $46,760, which is a $745 increase over last year's model. The Hybrid Pinnacle costs $54,940, while the Hybrid Limited costs $50,660. The Touring begins at $36,665 and goes up to $40,290 for the Touring L, $48,320 for the Limited, and $52,775 for the Pinnacle in the gas-only variant. However,  these prices do not include a $1,495 destination fee.
