Okay, so you've decided to pimp your ride with some swanky leather seats – good choice! But now you're stuck on the color. Black? White? Decisions, decisions...

This isn't a black or white question (got the word game?) - it all comes down to personal preferences and desire to take care of the leather.

White Leather: The Hollywood Look (But Maybe Not for Everyday Heroes)

White leather is like the Beyonce of car interiors – it turns heads and screams luxury. Plus, on those scorching summer days, it reflects heat like a champ, so you won't feel like you just sat on a frying pan. Here's the cool part: white leather can actually hide minor wear and tear better than black. A little scratch or some pet fur? No big deal.

But hold on to your fries! White leather can be a high-maintenance diva.  Any crumb, speck of dust, or rogue jellybean will show up like a spotlight. Food and drinks in the car are a risky proposition, unless you enjoy playing "spot clean" every five minutes.  Oh, and dark-colored jeans can stain white leather, so be careful what you wear. Top it all off, white leather can yellow over time, so sun protection is a must. Basically, white leather is gorgeous, but it takes some dedication to keep it looking that way.

Black Leather: The Timeless Classic (But Maybe a Little Boring?)

Black leather is the reliable friend of car interiors. Classy and looks good on any car and trim, from wood to carbon fiber. The good thing is that it also acts as a hiding place for dirt and bonus: it keeps warm in cold weather.

But black leather isn't all sunshine and rainbows.  In the summer heat, it can get about as hot as a freshly paved road.  And even though it hides dirt well, black leather still needs cleaning to avoid becoming a magnet for crumbs and pet hair.
