In China, Volkswagen debuted an all-new model. The Tavendor is a midsize SUV built on the MQB Evo platform and manufactured locally by the FAW-VW joint effort. It is technologically advanced and has a contemporary design.

The depicted Volkswagen Tavendor model is the R-Line trim, which features a sharper bumper design and big alloy wheels. The stripes on the grille give the front its distinctive look. Similar to the Audi Q6, the profile has a sleek appearance with a window line.

However, the taillights' LED graphics are exclusive to the Tavendor. The Tavendor has a wheelbase of 117.3 inches and measures 194.3 inches long, 79.3 inches wide, and 62 inches tall. It is built on an extended version of the MQB Evo platform.

The dashboard has VW's distinctive digital cockpit, which includes the 10.2-inch instrument cluster and the 12-inch infotainment touchscreen. Additionally, the panoramic sunroof adds to the interior appeal.

The Tavendor will feature the non-electrified turbocharged 2.0-liter TSI four-cylinder motor, which is offered in two power configurations. The base model will generate 183 horsepower, while the more potent version will deliver 217 horsepower. Power will be sent to the front or all four wheels using a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
