Changan and CATL's joint venture has produced a new generation of NEVs, the Avatr 07. Earlier this month, Avatr first teased the 07, referring to it as the Avatr 15. Pictures and information from China's IT ministry, however, have established 07 as the official designation.

According to local reports, the pricing range for Changan's rival to the Tesla Model Y might be 205,000 to 350,000 yuan, or around $28,900 to $49,200 at the current currency rate; thus, this makes it a more budget-friendly alternative.

Similar to the Avatr 11, the 07 shares several design cues and an overall form with the crossover. The LED daytime running lights, which run down the fascia and attach to a black grille, will catch your attention right away. The vehicle primarily boasts unadorned door panels with flush door handles, customizable with either conventional wing mirrors or side-view cameras. The large window and narrow LED taillights characterize the back.

The license plate holder section should resemble the front grille in Marketed as a competitor to the Model Y, the 07 boasts a slightly larger size than Tesla's offering. Its dimensions are 4,825 mm (189.9 in) in length, 1,980 mm (77.9 in) in width, 1,620 mm (67.7 in) in height, and 2,940 mm (115.7 in) in wheelbase. Compared to the Model Y, this increases its length by 75 mm (2.9 inches), width by 59 mm (2.3 inches), and depth by 4 mm (0.1 inch).

You may choose between wheels that are 20 or 21 inches in diameter. VariouAvatr will sell various variants of the 07, including BEVs and range-extender EVs.  battery from CATL powers the entry-level BEV's single rear motor, which produces 338 horsepower. A dual-motor BEV is also in the works, with a total of 590 horsepower.

The regular EREV, which has a 1.5-liter engine producing 154 hp and a 310 hp electric motor mounted at the back axle, will round out the lineup. Another option is an all-wheel-drive EREV, which has a total of 485 horsepower and can go 178 kilometers on electric power alone.
