Canada's Last Ever Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Is Priced At Nearly $120,000

In 2015, Mitsubishi ended production of Lancer Evolution, leaving an enormous hole in the market. The renowned Japanese sports vehicle will not be revived to compete with the next-generation Subaru Impreza STI, even though Mitsubishi's stockholders want it to be revitalized. Because of its near-bankruptcy, Mitsubishi has shifted its focus toward the profitable crossover sector.

Largely due to the 2022 Outlander, Mitsubishi's sales are up by 106 percent this year, bringing us optimism that the Lancer Evo may come back if Mitsubishi can fix its financial situation.  A Lancer Evo is currently available only through the used car classifieds.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Final Edition

Lancer Evo Final Edition was launched in 2015 to grant the sports car a send-off before it was retired. With an MSRP of $37,995, only 1,600 units were constructed in the United States. For roughly $90,000, a dealer attempted to sell the first copy. Mitsubishi is now offering a 2015 model for $118,227 at another dealership in Canada.

For the Canadian market, only 350 Lancer Evo Final Editions were created - making it even more unique than the US variant - and this is the last one. Because it's only 61 miles old, it's in "perfectly clean" condition. Canada's ultimate Lancer Evo is done in white with a black roof, "Final Edition" badge on the trunk, and BBS wheels.
To emphasize its uniqueness, the interior features red contrast stitching, as well as an exclusive plaque displaying the build number.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Final Edition
The Lancer Evo Final Edition is driven by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine producing 303 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque, which is delivered to all four wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. This is a slight upgrade over the standard Lancer Evo, which produced 291 hp and 300 lb-ft.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Final Edition

As much as we adore the Lancer Evo, spending nearly $120,000 on one seems insane when you can purchase a Porsche 911 Carrera S for the same money and still have some extra coin left.
