CALLAWAY CORVETTE C7 GT3-R joins forces with Whelen Engineering!

The very first Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R will be sponsored by Whelen Engineering, which will make Callaway one of the members of the most rapid cars in the world.

Whelen Engineering is a company that projects and produces high-quality audio and video notification systems, compatible with cars, airplanes massive industries. All of its equipment is manufactured in the USA.

Whelen is truly amazed by the Corvette produced by Callaway and wants to use this car and this partnership as an opportunity to penetrate the European market.

The already famous racing car will be driven for the first time by two racers, just as famous as the car is: Boris Said and Eric Curran. Boris has some past experience with Callaway from the 90s, while Eric's CV is impressive.

The year 2016 is very expected and important for the parties involved. All of the people participating in this project have shared a good history in the past, and doing such a great thing together is more than emotional to them. The drivers believe that the upcoming Whelen Callaway GT3 Corvette is one of the most amazing cars ever and they are honored that they will be the first ones driving it.

This car has already been presented to the world during ADAC GT Masters Season Finale presentation; on October 3rd. this car comes to replace the Z06 R GT3, another successful car from this brand.
