Lotus C-01 – the first motorcycle of the iconic Lotus manufacturer!

The Brits from Lotus have founded the Lotus Motorcycles company that works with Daniel Simon, former designer of the VAG concern, Kodewa team, and the Holzer German group.

Lotus C-01, the first motorcycle created by the legendary Lotus company, is described as a hyper-bike and its first teaser image reveals a carbon fiber tank colored in the classic black and gold.

There are almost no official details on the new project at the moment, however, there are several rumors that the C-01 will be powered by a 200 hp engine and will be made of such materials as carbon fiber, titanium, and special steel designed for spacecraft.

Daniel Simon's responsible for the look of the first motorcycle in the history of Lotus was inspired by the Lotus 49 competition model. The motorcycle will be painted in the classic black dispersed here and there with a gold shade.
