The 2021 Shanghai Auto Show brings some spectacular cars for each attendee and you'll be amazed by the worldwide automaker's innovations in the last year. Pandemic was a good time for inspiration, improvements, and developing new technologies. This time, decided to unveil their seven-seater Envision Plus and Buick's Verano Pro just days before the Auto Show.

Based on the Envision S, the Plus version features a similar design, but with slight differences, such as longer rear doors, much-tamed bodywork, and a sloping roof. With an expanded greenhouse and a more upright rear end, this specific Envision Plus is a perfect match for an adventurous elegant spirit.

A crossover with the latest range-topping Avenir trim, shows a unique grille enlightened by Matrix Pixel LED headlights. Other unique pointed features are the 20-inch aluminum wheels and the exclusive taillights. The mid-hybrid Envision Plus is powered by the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivering  233 horsepower and up to 350 Newton-meters of torque coupled to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The Verano Pro model was promoted as a “premium family sedan [...] builds on Buick’s DNA of sculptural beauty with a more youthful and dynamic appearance to resonate with the younger generation in China.” This model hasn’t so many details revealed but Buick mentioned its stylish grille improved with slender headlights and sporty air intakes. More, there’s a streamlined bodywork, a sportier greenhouse, and an evolutionary rear end.

This model features dark mirrors, window trim, and wheels, and several customizations to show its owners that a Verano still can have replaceable front and rear bumpers, side panels, and rear wing components. The interior features predominantly high-tech features with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a matching 10.25-inch infotainment system.

Here you can find the latest versions of GPS navigation, OnStar, and enhanced voice recognition technology. The automaker confirmed that the Verano Pro will be powered by an all-new turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with direct injection delivering more than the previous 162 horsepower and 240 Newton-meters of torque.

Buick is also planning to embrace the EVs trend and promised by 2023 at least five electric vehicles for the Chinese market. More details about the Buick Envision Plus and Verano Pro will be revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show.
