A woman in her seventies just ordered a custom Bugatti Chiron Super Sport because she wanted something out of the norm. Meet the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport '57 One of One,' a distinct creation and one of the final Chirons before the supercar concludes production.

This customized Chiron pays homage to the iconic Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic. After seeing an original 57 SC years ago, the owner became enamored with the design and recently configured her personalized Chiron Super Sport during a surprise visit to Bugatti's Molsheim base.

Jascha Straub, Lead Designer Sur Mesure at Bugatti, recalls the inspiration: “During her visit, when we passed a scale model of the Type 57 SC—the very first Atlantic and the exact one she had seen all those years ago—there was an immediate spark of recognition between us that this is the direction we should take." With a clear vision in mind, they collaborated to bring the design to life.

While the standard Chiron design already echoes the 57 SC's teardrop shape and central bolted spine, this one-of-a-kind creation takes it a step further. The horseshoe grille receives a special treatment with polished vertical vanes and a thicker central fin, reminiscent of the 1930s model.

The light blue metallic paint, meticulously matched to the 57 SC's shade from 20 years ago, solidifies the connection. Bugatti even traveled to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao to ensure color accuracy against the original car. The Super Sport wheels, with their five-spoke design, combine blue paint and chrome, mirroring the classic 57's aesthetic.

Under the rear wing, a hand-drawn silhouette of the Atlantic, accompanied by '57' and 'One of One' lettering, adds a personalized touch. Inside, the Gaucho leather-clad interior features blue detailing, a '57 One of One' plaque on the console, and Bugatti's iconic elephant motif on the seatbacks. At the end of the day, this Bugatti Chiron Super Sport '57 One of One' stands as a unique and artfully crafted tribute to automotive elegance.
