Bristol Cars Comeback Plan Takes Shape With Modern EV

There is a long list of car companies that are long gone, and an even shorter one of those who dream of an epic coming back. Bristol Cars are part of the second list and want to reshape the modern EV still keeping the internal combustion engine concept alive.

A good automotive comeback story is always the best way to make the way back into the automotive industry. The most popular examples are the comeback of the Toyota GR Supra, Ford Bronco, even the small Italian sports car manufacturer Bizzarrini. Maybe the UK's Bristol Cars will follow into their steps after announcing their intention to a successful comeback with its Dodge-powered sports car.

This company was founded back in 1945, Bristol Cars, and back then they were famous for their luxury grand tourers. The revival of Bristol Cars is now official and the coming back brings along several continuation models and a new battery-electric vehicle. All this is possible due to the Bristol's assets being sold off at an auction.

The new investor and property developer, Jason Wharton bought along with the intellectual property rights of the British automotive company and set up an ambitious goal of making it the top British EV company by the year 2026. Mark that 2026 is also the 80th anniversary of Bristol Cars, so the EV in question will be called the Buccaneer luxurious four-seater.

The two new remastered series – will be the Fighter and 411 Series 8 will keep promoting the Bristol Cars with an internal combustion engine - the last Bristol Cars before fully embracing the EV trend.
