First off, the 2025 BMW i5 xDrive40 EV is hitting the production line in March. Picture this: an electric beast with two motors pumping out a hefty 389 hp. That means you can zip from 0 to 60 mph quicker than you can say "Let's hit the road!" – in just 5.2 seconds, to be exact. It's like the best of both worlds, sitting right between the chill i5 eDrive40 and the powerhouse i5 M60.

And get this – BMW's talking about some sci-fi stuff like changing lanes just by looking. How cool is that?
But it's not all about speed. The i5 xDrive40 also has brains with a big battery that charges super fast. We're still waiting to hear how far it'll go on a full charge, but it's looking promising. As for the price, it goes up from $71,095. 

2025 BMW 550e xDrive Plug-in Hybrid is planned to hit the market in July. It’s a hybrid, but this ain’t your regular hybrid. It runs a turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor, both delivering a unified power of 483 hp. The first 60mph will be reached in only 4 seconds!

If only electric power is selected, it can go as far as 30 miles.
