Just recently, BMW gave the 3 Series a makeover. BMW has also enhanced the M3 performance model, albeit in a less overt manner.

Aesthetic upgrades include redesigned headlights and interior, LED daytime running lights, alloy wheels, ceramic carbon brakes, M Carbon seats, and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, as well as a variety of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic components in the M Carbon Exterior package.

BMW has redesigned the interior with a new steering wheel, fewer physical buttons, an operating system named 8.5, and a curving structure that combines the 12.3-inch screen instrument cluster with the entertainment system's 14.9-inch center display.

The multimedia system menu now allows you to control the climate. Standard Anthracite Rhombicle aluminum trim and Sensatec upholstery adorn the dashboard. Decorative elements made of carbon and M-fine-brushed aluminum are not mandatory.

Inside the redesigned BMW M3, you'll still find the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline 6-cylinder engine. Any variant of the M3 other than the top-tier M3 Competition M xDrive, Sedan, or Touring will have the same amount of power.

The unit produces a total of 530 horsepower, 20 more than previously. The torque ranges from 2,750 rpm to 5,730 rpm. Both the Competition Sedan M xDrive and the Touring version of the M3 hit 100 km/h in 3.5 and 3.6 seconds, respectively, after this power boost. Under the speed range of 0-200 km/h, the difference is the most apparent.

The touring variant takes 12.4 seconds to reach this mark, while the sedan version takes 11.8 seconds. They are each half a second quicker than previously. Electronically, the maximum speed is still 250 km/h. For the M3 Touring Competition, this drops to 280 km/h, but for the M Driver package, it rises to 290 km/h. The redesigned BMW M3 will go into production in July 2024.
