BMW M4 CS VR46 Is A Rossi-Inspired Beast With 543 HP
by AutoExpert | 26 February, 2025
BMW just pulled off one of the coolest tributes to Valentino Rossi with the M4 CS Edition VR46. Limited to just 46 units each, the Sport and Style versions bring a whole lot of Rossi flair to an already wild machine.
Mechanically, these two are identical to the regular M4 CS, packing a 543-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six and an AWD system that launches it to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds. But the real magic is in the details.

The Sport version is drenched in Marina Bay Blue metallic, with massive ‘46’ graphics in Tanzanite Blue, while the Style version flips the script with a Matte Frozen Tanzanite Blue finish and Frozen Marina Bay Blue logos. And because Rossi isn’t Rossi without his signature yellow, BMW went all-in—bright yellow outlines the kidney grilles, brake calipers, wheels, and even trims the roof on the Sport model. There’s more yellow on the tailgate, and both models rock a huge ‘VR46’ signature on the roof.

Inside, M Carbon bucket seats get a slick Black/Night Blue Merino leather combo, with Sao Paulo Yellow Alcantara accents on the shoulders and a VR46 logo stitched into the headrests. That yellow stitching also carries over to the Alcantara-wrapped M steering wheel. And just so you never forget how rare this thing is, the center console gets a 1/46 badge.

BMW even made subtle chassis tweaks, adjusting the wheel camber, dampers, springs, and anti-roll bars, plus some fine-tuning on the adaptive M suspension. But the best part? Owners won’t just get the car—they’ll get an experience. BMW is flying buyers to Italy for a two-day event, including a visit to Rossi’s legendary VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia, followed by a BMW M Driving Experience at the Misano World Circuit.

Want one? Better move fast. Prices start at $155,000, and with Rossi’s fanbase, you can bet these won’t last long.
