BMW Introduces The M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition In India

The pre-facelift BMW 3-Series is still available in India where it has been given the 50 Jahre M Edition makeover. In honor of BMW M's 50th anniversary, a special edition M340i xDrive has been created.  Even though it isn't a full-packed M model, it is the fastest BMW ever manufactured in India.

Both Dravid Grey and Tanzanite Blue colors from the BMW Individual catalogue are available for the M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition.

The special edition M340i comes equipped with the M visual package, with the grille and mirrors coated in High Gloss Black. The optional carbon fiber rear spoiler, side sill extensions, and mirror covers are available for those who prefer a more aggressive look.

Inside, there is piano black trim and upholstery in shades of black and blue with Alcantara accents. Extra equipment includes the M Performance steering wheel, several carbon fiber components, and a unique key fob.

The M340i xDrive is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder motor that generates 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. Power is supplied to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission and the xDrive technology.

M Sport suspension, steering, brakes, and differential are also included. In India, the BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition starts at Rs 68.90 lakh, which is equivalent to $87,981.
