BMW i3 has registered a phenomenal success.

BMW announced that it already has 100,000 reservations for the testing of its first electric vehicle, the i3. Ian Robertson, the BMW head of sales says even that there are significant numbers of customers who have deposited an advance for the first electric model of the brand in Munich.

Concerning the price of the new i3, Robertson says that the model will be similar to 3 Series. "BMW i3 is an investment in a future plan and in this plan take part the vehicles with zero CO2 emissions, which play a key role in this story. We believe that I3 and i8 will change the demand for the vehicles of this type because we'll change the technology of the electric vehicle ", said Ian Robertson at the Automotive News Europe Congress.

The launch of BMW i3 debuts around 30 months after the announcement of Division "i" from BMW, designed to handle only electric vehicles and the ecological range of the Munich manufacturer.
