The BMW i3 eDrive35L, a completely electric four-door sedan built on the 3-Series long-wheelbase variant, will be sold in China starting in May 2022. The i3 eDrive35L is the name given to the first completely electric 3-Series to separate it from the previous i3 hatchback.

It receives new LED headlights, an encased kidney grille to indicate its electric essence, a reimagined front bumper with various intakes, new side sills, aero wheels, and a new rear bumper with an incorporated diffuser.
