It’s such amazing news when concepts reach production! This time, rejoice comes from BMW CE 04 – formerly known as a concept, now hitting real-time production.

The design of the production version is pretty much the same as the concept’s and we must admit that it is one of the most beautiful scooters we’ve ever seen.

The electric motor is mounted in the bike’s frame and ensures a power of 42 hp and 44 pound-feet of torque. This ensures that BMW CE 04 will reach the top speed of 75 mph, accelerating to 30 mph in as little as 2.6 seconds. The first 100 km/h will be reached in 9.2 seconds, according to BMW.

The powertrain is completed with an 8.9-kWh battery pack, which is enough to cross 80 miles on a full charge. As for charging time, it’ll take 1 hour 40 minutes to completely charge it with a 6.9 kW cable.

This BMW CE 04 comes with various riding modes resulting in various energy recuperation. There is a standard ABS, while the ABS Pro is an optional feature you may select or not. The ASC slip control system functions similarly to the internal combustion engine BMW bikes, while an optional Dynamic Traction Control system may be selected on top of the ASC for enhancing speeding in the leaning position.

BMW CE 04 comes with a 10.25-inch HD screen, supporting smartphone connectivity and navigation. Other options are also available, including an adaptive LED headlight, heated seat, and Dynamic drive mode.

Prices start at USD 11.795, hitting dealerships at the beginning of 2022.
