In an age where luxury SUVs have become a staple, Bentley's Bentayga has stood out as a pioneering name in hyper-luxury off-roaders since its debut in 2015. However, Bentley is not one to rest on its laurels. In a move that is more than a simple facelift, the automaker introduces substantive changes for the 2024 Bentayga, including axing its powerful W12 engine and introducing a new model variant, the Bentayga 'A'.

Farewell, W12

Bentley has chosen not to call these changes a facelift, as there are virtually no visual upgrades. What catches the eye, however, is the retirement of the W12 engine. The available powertrains for the 2024 Bentayga now are a 443 hp V6 PHEV and a 542 hp bi-turbo V8.

Enhanced Handling and Comfort

The 2024 Bentayga borrows from its extended-wheelbase variant, the Bentayga EWB, to introduce rear-axle steering. This feature enhances the SUV’s agility, especially on winding roads and in tight urban spaces. Bentley has also offered optional Postural Adjust climate rear seats, which can alter pressure at 177 points across six fully independent zones to reduce fatigue over long periods.

Intelligent Climate Control

One of the unique features of the 2024 Bentayga is its intelligent climate system. It utilizes map data to switch to recirculation mode just before entering a tunnel and returns to fresh air mode upon exiting, enhancing air quality during the drive.

A Dash of Tech

The new Bentayga includes smartphone-operated remote parking and 3D Surround View cameras. Also, an upgraded 'Bang & Olufsen for Bentley' audio system has been added, along with eight new exterior colors and the Styling Specification pack, which offers more sustainable materials.

Enter the Bentayga ‘A’

Bentley has added a new 'A' model to bridge the gap between the standard Bentayga and the Azure. This model comes with unique badges, 21-inch machine-finish alloys, an Azure-style fluted grille, and a variety of interior customization options.
