Bentley Continental GT And GTC S Get A Sportier Makeover

With the new S version for the GT and GTC, Bentley offers even more personalization possibilities to the buyers. You may be thinking what's the difference here. Well, the black gloss external features, distinctive wheels, and the S badging on the front fenders set the Bentley Continental GT and GTC S apart from the standard models.

There are also new 22-inch wheels in Gloss Black or Pale Brodgar Satin, with red brake callipers resting behind them. Another option for the S-model is a unique set of 21-inch wheels with a tri-spoke layout. The S has a unique two-tone interior thanks to the Dinamica upholstery on the steering wheel, gearshift, and backrests and the Bentley leather hide on the doors, instrument panel, and center console.

The S emblem on the dash, revised graphics on the screen, and illuminated treadplates round out the package. The GT and GTC S versions do not have any further performance advantages above the base models. The Sports exhaust has a heftier sound, and that's about it. The only option for these vehicles is the V8 engine.

The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 develops 542 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque, enabling a 0-62 mph time of 4 seconds. The Bentley Dynamic Ride 48V active anti-roll technology, included as standard equipment in the S version, further improves handling and pleasure. Pricing for the Continental GT and GTC S has yet to be announced by Bentley; however, we may expect a boost above the standard model.
