Avatr has just unveiled its 06 sedan, which shares a lot in common with the Avatr 07 SUV that was introduced earlier this year. Built on the same platform, the 06 combines Changan’s engineering, CATL batteries, and Huawei’s tech, making it a real tech-forward electric sedan.

The Avatr 06 immediately attracts attention with its sleek LED headlights, a smoother front bumper, and a more streamlined profile. One of the standout features is the advanced sensor setup, including a roof-mounted LiDAR system as part of Huawei’s Qiankun ADAS.

The side mirrors have been swapped out for cameras, making the rear window unnecessary and giving the car an even more futuristic look. While we haven’t seen the interior yet, it’s expected to have large digital displays running Huawei’s Harmony OS and plenty of modern touches. The Avatr 06 shares the same platform as the rest of Avatr’s models, and though full specs aren’t out yet, we can expect it to offer similar powertrain options as the 07 SUV.

That means there will be rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) versions, with the RWD variant likely pushing around 338 hp (252 kW), and the AWD version around 590 hp (440 kW), both powered by an 82 kWh battery. There will also be EREV (extended-range electric vehicle) versions with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine paired with a 39 kWh battery and either one or two electric motors.

Early 2025 will see the launch of the Avatr 06 in China, and with its cutting-edge technology and stylish design, it's certainly one to watch.
