August Is 2021 Ssangyong Korando EV’s Month

Ssangyong Korando e-Motion is at the center of the Korean carmaker’s development program, meant to ensure a bright future for it. This is the manufacturer’s first electric car.
Ssangyong Korando EV is based on the current Korando, featuring some custom details. Besides working on Korando EV, Ssangyong is also focusing on developing its second EV – a model that will be launched in 2022 and seems to be related to the Musso model.
Ssangyong promises to have the first Korando e-Motion cars delivered to Europe in August and reach Great Britain by the end of the year. This comes after a long financial struggle of the carmaker, in spite of Indian Mahindra’s rescue back in 2010.
Taking on ecology might be a good step for Ssangyong, as it will help it recover from its not-so-good times and find an investor. According to the carmaker, all of its efforts are targeted at corporate rehabilitation and new cars development. The ecological range will be broadened, as Ssangyong is getting ready to become competitive again.
