Audi Unveils Revamped 2025 e-tron GT Lineup With New RS Performance Model

For the 2025 model year, Audi has revamped the e-tron GT lineup, adding a new 2025 Audi RS e-tron GT Performance flagship to the family. A new 97 kWh battery pack, 19.8 lbs lighter than the previous model's 84 kWh pack, is the foundation of the e-tron GT family.

With the addition of paddle shifters located behind the steering wheel, the regenerative braking system may be fine-tuned from 290 kW to 400 kW. Assuming perfect circumstances, the new model has a maximum range of 378 miles per charge.

With a jump from 270 kW to 320 kW, the maximum charging speed, you can now charge the battery from 10 to 80% in just 18 minutes, and a 10-minute top-up can increase the range by 174 miles. The battery has been upgraded to maintain a charge speed of more than 280 kW for far longer than the previous model. To charge the battery faster, it may be warmed or chilled. The electric motors of the e-tron GT have also undergone significant upgrades.

With 670 horsepower from a pair of motors, the new entry-level model, the S e-tron GT, is more potent than its predecessor. The 2025 RS e-tron GT now boasts 845 horsepower of power, while the new RS e-tron GT Performance, which is the most powerful Audi ever, generates 912 hp. Now, the 2025 S e-tron GT can reach 62 mph in 3.4 seconds, which is just 0.1 second slower than the previous RS model.

On the other hand, the RS e-tron GT Performance can reach 62 mph in 2.5 seconds, while the new RS e-tron GT can do it in 2.8 seconds. The S e-tron GT will keep going up to 152 mph, while the RS versions will reach 155 mph at their maximum speed. Audi has also installed new brakes. Standard on the RS versions are discs covered with tungsten carbide, but on the S e-tron GT, they're steel. Carbon fiber ceramic discs and 10-piston front brake calipers are available as options on all 2025 models.

Both the standard air suspension and the optional active suspension have undergone significant upgrades. With its adjustable ride height and revolutionary system, the automobile would remain "nearly horizontal during dynamic braking, steering, and acceleration," according to the manufacturer. You also have the option of all-wheel steering. 

Inside, some of the changes include redesigned seats, a new steering wheel, and an optional button-operated panoramic glass top. Wooden inlays, Dinamica microfiber, and optional 18-way adjustable seats are just a few of the new elements that have made it into the revamped Audi virtual cockpit. 

The starting price for the new S e-tron GT in Europe is €126,000, which is around $135,000, while the RS e-tron GT is €147,500, which is around $158k, and the 2025 Audi RS e-tron GT Performance costs €160,500, which is over $172,000.
