On the second day of the international motor show in Frankfurt, Audi decided to impose two new awards, S4 Sedan and S4 Avant. Both models share the same engine and the same objective, compact sports sedan to dominate the segment.

Under the hood is installed S4's 3.0-liter V6 turbo-aspirated, delivering around 354 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The power reserves of the gas station are governed by the Tiptronic floor at eight speeds in the most efficient way possible so that the acceleration from zero to the first hundred takes about 4.7 seconds, and with the accelerator to the floor can reach a maximum speed 250 km/h, electronically limited of course.

Typical of an S4 Quattro system is just beside it, Audi installs and a limited-slip center differential with. In "normal" it sends 60% of engine power to the rear axle, and if the necessary report can change for the front axle by up to 70% or to the rear wheels by up to 85%.

Talking about the technical characteristics mentioned is well combined with the fuel consumption, Audi's officials said. The latter argue that the new S4 uses around 7.4 liters per 100 km, that even if the car weighs around 1,630 kg (or 1,675 Avant).

The differences between an A4 and S4 are not limited only to performance. On the external level S4 them is betrayed not only the inscriptions version and the 18-inch wheels (optional 19), the ride height is lower by 23 mm, and the body kit Aggressive composed of bars front and rear restyled side sills less elusive, a small spoiler on the trunk lid, and flanges exhaust system. The interior is upholstered in Nappa leather and Alcantara, and there is no shortage of supportive sports seats with pronounced side, logos S4 and aluminum inserts. For an extra cost, Audi offers LED array headlights, head-up displays, and other toys for a sports car enthusiast.
