Audi plans the most powerful 2.0-liter engine in the world

The release of the new A45 AMG in 2013, Mercedes launched the offensive in hot-hatch market segment premium: the Stuttgart Compact benefited a new engine with four-cylinder engine capable of delivering 360 horsepower.

The future EA888 engine is under the hood expected future Audi S3 Plus (which is rumored to stand between S3 and RS3 5-cylinder) and Audi TT Mk. III, rated record: about 375 horsepower and a torque of 500 Nm. The same engine would be able to receive and Volkswagen Golf R Evo, which concept will debut at the Motor Show in Beijing this year.
