Aston Martin has finally unveiled the Valhalla, their new flagship mid-engine supercar. Set to begin production in mid-2025, the Valhalla is ready to go head-to-head with the Lamborghini Revuelto and Ferrari SF90 Stradale.

Under the hood, the Aston Martin Valhalla packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 817 hp, making it the most powerful engine of any Aston Martin. Three electric motors, two at the front axle, complement this engine, resulting in a total output of 1,064 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque.

With all-wheel drive and Aston's new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, this hybrid setup enables the Valhalla to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 217 mph.

Different from other Aston models, the V8 engine features a dry sump lubrication system, a flat-plane crankshaft, larger turbos, and custom camshafts. The electric motors help with torque vectoring on the front axle and reduce turbo lag. It boasts an electric-only range of up to 8.6 miles, with a capped top speed of 80 mph in electric mode.

Aerodynamics is a big focus for the Valhalla, producing over 600 kg of downforce at 149 mph. The car's lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis adjusts to maintain downforce at optimal levels, ensuring maximum performance. Meanwhile, the suspension includes advanced push-rod front suspension and Bilstein adaptive dampers at the rear, while the brakes are carbon-ceramic, with 410 mm front and 290 mm rear discs.

The Valhalla's cockpit draws inspiration from F1 cars. It features a low seating position with one-piece carbon fiber seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a large digital display for instrumentation and infotainment. Buyers can also customize their car through Aston Martin’s Q division, offering endless bespoke options.

Limited to just 999 units, the Aston Martin Valhalla will be a rare and exclusive supercar, though its price remains a mystery. What’s clear is that this car is a serious performance machine, ready to challenge the very best in the hypercar world.
