Aston Martin has prepared a series of teasers for the official presentation, on May 19, 2013, of the model CC100 Speedster - a spectacular concept car inspirited from the glorious past of the British brand in motorsport, which shows us important elements of design that will be reflected in the future models of the range. Aston Martin CC100 celebrates 100 years that the United Kingdom luxury brand reaches this year.

CC100 Speedster also pays a tribute to a particular model from the history - Aston Martin DBR1 from the 1959, the model with which the English won in that year the endurance race at Le Mans. DBR1 inspired the form of the classic two-seat speedster.

CC100 is not just a show car, it is a fully functional car capable of performing, and Aston Martin chose to present it to the public at Nurburgring during the 24-hour race. Ulrich Bez, the chief of the Aston Martin brand, piloted the CC100 concept, being assisted by Sir Stirling Moss, who was piloted an Aston Martin DBR1.

CC100 acronym refers to the name of the Concept Car, and figure 100 refers directly to the centenary Aston Martin. CC100 concept presents with the reinterpreted front grille also a lot of carbon elements. The power comes from a V12 engine of 6.0 liters paired with an automatic six-speed gearbox, which also can be controlled manually. Aston Martin says the CC100 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds, and the top speed is 290 km/h.

The concept's interior is minimalist, but functional and impressively beautiful because of the retroelements blended perfectly with the modern carbon fiber. CC100 renounces for the classic car gauges in favor of a modern digital display, and the lamp units are using LED technology. Aston Martin CC100 has a length of 4.5 meters and 2 meters in width, while the total weight is 1.200 kg.

Aston Martin built just a single model CC100 for the moment.
