Aston Martin Offers Its New V12 Speedster With DBR1 Specification

Another beautiful tribute to the DBR1 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959  done by the team of Aston Martin. History also shows that the same car won the 1,000 Km class of Nurburgring in 1957 and 1958.

Aston Martin plans to build 88 examples of the V12 Speedster and they tend to offer the exclusive vehicle with  DBR1 specification. The V12 Speedster and The Speedster DBR1 differ by the Aston Martin Racing Green paint finish, Clubsport White pinstripes, and a Satin Silver anodized front grille with a ‘lipstick’ graphic. It takes at least 50 hours to paint the exterior finish of the DBR1 specification and notice that this is Aston Martin’s advanced paint facility working on.

Running on bespoke diamond-turned 21-inch center-lock wheels and an interior hosting carbon fiber accents, Caithness Green leather, and fitting satin silver brushed aluminum switchgear. According to Aston Martin chief creative officer Marek Reichman the British carmaker relies on emotion and exclusivity.

 “A rare and exceptional Aston Martin, it has been engineered to offer a visceral driving experience that belies its elegant, artistic shape. Creating a bespoke specification that nods to the glory of the DBR1 has been a huge privilege for my team and I, and I very much look forward to seeing these cars being driven with the same enthusiasm that we have applied to their design,” stated Reichman.

The Aston Martin V12 Speedster models are powered by the 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 with an output of 690 horsepower and 752 Newton-meters of torque.
