An Old Classic Is Revived: Everrati's Ford GT40

An electric version the famous Ford GT40 was first announced by Everrati over a year ago. Now that the project has progressed, we can see the first technical specs, and they are astounding. Everrati has built its own electric drivetrain using the most advanced electric engines and batteries available.

The revived supercar employs a 700-volt structure that enables ultra-quick charging. According to Everrati, it produces 800 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, making it nearly twice as powerful as the most potent version of the old Ford GT40.

In addition, the electric Ford GT40 weighs just 2,910 pounds, 104 pounds less than a fully-fueled original GT40. Because of the small 60-kWh battery, which provides a range of more than 125 miles per charge, it is feasible to achieve this result. Charging it from 20% to 80% should take no more than 45 minutes using an 80 kW CCS port.

Everrati also guarantees a weight distribution of 40/60 front-to-rear, which is better than the classic 1966 GT40 MKII. The power is transmitted through a single-ratio gearbox and a limited-slip differential adapted from racing.
Additionally, the company has designed a simulated exhaust noise that may be enabled by activating Race Mode for the EV engine.
