An Audi R8 capable of reaching 430 km/h.

What you see in the pictures below is probably the most daring project of tuning based on the first generation of the Sportcar in Ingolstadt, Audi R8 V10 Plus. The end result is measured over 900 horsepower delivered exclusively to the rear axle and incredible speed, and figures made due to the joint efforts of the British specialists of the Potter & Rich workshop.

Named RECON MC8 the Supercar can be easily confused with the R8, one of the video game NFS, and similarities limited to the outside. This is because the old fireball naturally aspirated with a four-wheel-drive did not have much left at the right place. The petrol Unit 5.2-liter V10 was converted to a turbo and now delivers 950 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, to the rear axle!

R8 is no longer an AWD but RWD and the British experts claim to have done this in order to give the car a more sporty behavior and the nearest hot rods through a better balancing of loads between decks. To cope with the increased power in excess those from Potter & Rich have installed a Drexler differential limited slip and transmission with double-clutch seven speeds and have been thoroughly revised and improved. The tuners cut from the total weight of the Sportcar replacing the factory body panels, some worked in carbon fiber.

But neither the body kit nor the huge wheels of 20  and 21-inch or the massive spoiler installed behind do not betray the car's performance so much as make a new speedometer graduated to 430 km/h! The only question,  is it capable of reaching a speed like that, or is that just an "accessory" to the big boys?

Unfortunately, we don't know the answer,  and we don't know the price of this jewel.
