Amateur Designer Creates Stunning Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Concept

Mercedes Benz and McLaren combined forces and financials to build the SLR version back in 2003.
The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren paid homage to Merc 300 SLR and after a 6 years production, the successor of the SLR was considered the SLS AMG version. After that the companies went on their own path to building cars.
However many were wondering if the SLR could get revived. But one 22 year old designer took it to the next level and created a new concept that combine the designs of both car makers, the Mercedes SLR McLaren.
Most interestingly is that the designer, Aritra Das, is simply an amateur designer and car enthusiast.
How do you find his concept? Worthy of production or only a nice rendering?
